Hello, my name's Sonia, and I lead Tropicalm English Language Services.

I'm here to teach you English, and to improve your speech, grammar and oral understanding.
Additionnaly, I have advanced IT skills and industry experience in website localisation (la localisation, en anglais), proofreading (relecture) your English assignments (devoirs), theses (mémoires), web site translations (I can intervene at HTML, resource file and database levels), speeches (discours) or any document that needs to be proofread or edited.

Note: I won't do your assignments for you, but I'll proofread them and coach you to understand the inaccuracies.
You will easily see the changes I made if you supply your document in Word format.

About Me

I am an Australian native-English speaker with a multi-cultural and multi-lingual background. Languages other than English include Greek and Japanese, and I am additionally currently studying French. I have extensive experience and knowledge in working and living overseas, including Dubai in the United Arab Emirates, and Japan. Further, I have travelled expansively across the globe. My life-experience allows exceptional ability to understand the challenges in working with individuals and groups of diverse backgrounds.

My forte is in quality Client Services and Health Care - across my career showing success in quality Client Services, Psychology, and Nursing for leading education and health care environments - I am confident in having demonstrated expertise, motivation, enthusiasm, and driving force beyond expectations.

My current career strategy is based on new and inspiring challenges - enhancing professional skills in a dynamic environment, where strong team collaboration, self management, initiative and innovative practice, with unlimited vision for success will be highly regarded.

My English teaching background ensures precise grammatical structure, attention to detail, and the ability to re-structure sentences and clauses. I have expertise in English language proofreading and editing documents of varied domains including medical and health, academic, corporate, and general written material.
